Thanks for writing this Rory, you've captured everything very well. Was thoroughly lovely chatting with you about this topic which is very dear to my heart.
Although, errors in my diabetes tech dictionary, not a chance, haha.
Great piece Rory, we've been looping with my son since 2019 partly thanks to Kev as I'd seen him talking about it in various Facebook groups. It's made a massive difference for both him and us as parents and to see these systems moving into the commercial space and becoming mainstream is great.
As an old T-1 I like to say, I’m also a 49-year insulin survivor! Diagnosed back in 1973 diabetics like me had nothing but reagent tape. Lows were a daily hazard. Imagine that! But I found extreme exercise kept me healthy. And now, finally, the closed loop is here thanks to motivated techs w kids. As a beneficiary my Medronic “Guardian” enables this ol sugar daddy to sleep like a kid again.

I don’t suppose some kind of electronic measure and monitor of levels of dopamine and Parkinson’s drug might be possible ? Or is that a leap too far?
Were but it so...and, perhaps a few others.
