Fingers crossed! We have our good and bad energy level days - I feel like a doddery old man today. That said, does being on the cusp of 70 bring that on, or is it PD related? We plod on!
I have heard very positive personal Exenatide experiences in PD - it is my hoped-for-solution - sadly it is taking almost as long to see it’s common usage as it is to get my driving licence back from the DVLA - But there is hope there .. well 40%
I am watching my mother and father struggling with the onset of Parkinson. You are spot on describing the visits to the neurologist... the neurologist believes their PD is related to 2 weeks of being exposed to CO2 in their home. We are lucky they are with us but the symptoms of the poisoning are either mimicking PD or they are in the midst of PD. They are 89 and were living independently before the poisoning. Now they need help. The new breakthroughs are exciting albeit too late for my parents. One last comment.. their Primary Care physician stated that Neurologists resist identifying a patient’s condition as PD. ???????

A short wait for anyone who already has Type 2 diabetes as well as PD?
Presumably the 40% of people that exenatide works for are those with insulin resistance, pre diabetes or diabetes/metabolic dysfunction?
Great post, thanks.
