Fingers crossed! We have our good and bad energy level days - I feel like a doddery old man today. That said, does being on the cusp of 70 bring that on, or is it PD related? We plod on!

These GLP-1 agonist drugs are for diabetes *or* for obesity, but the approval in Europe seems to be limited to obesity, not diabetes, so they won't be prescribed if you just have diabetes, your BMI index has to be in the overweight range as well.

I am stunned by the irony of having to put on weight or move to the States just to have a shorter wait for Parkinson's treatment.

I am watching my mother and father struggling with the onset of Parkinson. You are spot on describing the visits to the neurologist... the neurologist believes their PD is related to 2 weeks of being exposed to CO2 in their home. We are lucky they are with us but the symptoms of the poisoning are either mimicking PD or they are in the midst of PD. They are 89 and were living independently before the poisoning. Now they need help. The new breakthroughs are exciting albeit too late for my parents. One last comment.. their Primary Care physician stated that Neurologists resist identifying a patient’s condition as PD. ???????
