"We're all well off, we're influential, we're quite used to getting our way,” says the judge. “But we are what we are. We obviously shouldn't try and reinvent ourselves .”

Why not? It's worth a try.

I’m not quite sure how I came about to read your podcast, mercifully I don’t suffer PD and neither do any of my family, but I know others who do. So I feel a bit of an outsider. I find your articles interesting, insightful & funny. A very long time ago I worked within the law and instructed a young barrister called Nicholas Mostyn in matrimonial cases. He obviously impressed as I always remembered his name. Many thanks and best wishes to you all.

Thankyou for this marvellous series. My eldest brother was diagnosed earlier this year, but as yet, hasn’t listened to any of your pod casts. He is very isolated in his stance…I so want him to hear J. P. grumbling along, I’m sure he would enjoy the banter and the discussion (I have, but I am not a Parkin). Next I’m with him , I may just have you on in the background. Wishing you all, the very best. Helen B.

Nice & honest review of your show: there will always be people who find the position of 'public privilege' discomforting, but do not recognise the benefits such exposure can bring to their own private condition. Thank you.

I don't have any close relatives with PD but Movers and Shakers is important to all people living with medical issues that affect their daily life, like arthritis for example. So thanks, take care and see you in September.
