I have found just the same on hols and on my Fitbit - I agree it's good to monitor sleep. I'm shocked at how often I wake up - my record is full of red lines of awake (I'm presuming due to Parkinson's but I've only been monitoring since diagnosis - maybe I've always been awake half the night) some of which I'm not aware of which shows the potential I have for long awakenings if I can't go straight back to sleep. I find meditation also helps greatly (I practice Transcendental Meditation TM)
